The mission
Fewer people has rowed across the Atlantic than climbed Mount Everest. To us crossing the Atlantic in an eight-meter rowing boat is the ultimate challenge, but for many children getting up in the morning, going to school and coming home is a bigger challenge than any ocean we will ever cross. We are doing this row, because it is the adventure of a lifetime, and because we want to help children feeling excluded to do the same one day.
about us
We are 4 Norwegian guys who all – in our own ways, have strived to always do something different and exciting – be it through education, military, sports, work or travel. After becoming used to pushing our own comfort zones and limits to the maximum, we feel the next ultimate challenge and experience lies in doing something together. To us – the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, the world’s toughest endurance race, is that opportunity. And we are pretty sure few things will bring us closer together and teach us more about each other and ourselves as crossing the Atlantic Ocean in a 8m rowing boat.
